Investec summarily blocks access to my accounts

Investec has summarily closed my account because, according to them, I have not re-FICA'd. I received no notification by email or sms to warn me this would happen. Besides the fact that my debit orders are going to bounce as a result, I'm stuck in the middle of the Karoo with insufficient funds to return home. Is this behaviour even legal?
