INVESTEC BANK (worth 96 billion Rand) WITHOLDS R 5 746,80 FROM SICKLY PENSIONER

In 1991, I was involved a serious motor vehicle accident (MVA) (not my fault) and after sustaining brain damage, neck fractures at C4 & C5 and a destroyed hip, has since claimed for my pain medication (I am 24/7 in pain) on a monthly basis from the Road Accident Fund (RAF). Between 20/01/2021 and 01/08/2022, the RAF mistakenly paid the money for my pain medication (R 5 746,80) into my INVESTEC and not my new ABSA bank account. This only came to light recently, whereafter I asked INVESTEC to please pay the money back to me, so I can buy my pain medication. With the RAF being bankrupt (unlike INVESTEC), I haven't received money from the RAF in weeks. The amount of R R 5 746,80 will go a long way in aleviating my daily pain. INVESTEC refused to give this money to me, stating they deemed it as part of a payment arrangement. As I am typing this, no payment arrangement with INVESTEC is in place. INVESTEC not willing to give me the R 5 746,80 so I can buy pain medication, has now caused me to use my mentally disabled daughter's SASSA grant of R 1 980.00 per month to help buy the meds. I am my daughter's primary caregiver. Without pain meds, I cannot bathe her (she is almost 19 years old and weighs quite a bit as she cannot walk, thus very inactive), and I do struggle to lift her up to change her diapers and sanitary pads/products. I find it hard to believe that a company worth more than R 96 billion needs the R 5 746.80 more than my disabled daughter and I do. Even if Investec insists on keeping this money (they have to pay bonusses and dividends to their executives...), I believe current and future clients and investors should know about the inhumanity that's rife in this banking instituation, one I once used to be a proud shareholder and client of. I, however, do believe that INVESTEC will review their decision and bless my child and I with the R 5 746.80. We do not need it to pay our DSTV premium, Netflix subscription or internet data, we need it for diapers, sanitary pads/products and pain medication.
