Investec - A Painted Turd

After working through all the questionnaires online and meeting my potential private banker at the Cape Town offices, I was asked to provide additional documentation in the form of bank statements from a foreign bank I use.

The foreign bank has a non-intuitive system for retrieving statements, but to assist Investec, I took time to organise and format the statements clearly, hoping this would make their assessment process easier.

Despite the effort I made, I have received no feedback whatsoever.

Investec is a painted turd.

Behind the façade of stylish premises and sharply dressed staff lies the stench of mediocrity. It’s not just a lack of communication, it’s a lack of respect for a potential client’s time.
