Granddaughter's christening gift

<p>On the 27.09.2016, I paid an amount of R5000.00 via Standard Bank, as a gift for my first granddaughter’s christening into what I thought was a tax free savings account with Investec Bank. For reasons that I am unable to establish, the funds were paid into the First National Bank, beneficiary being Investec Securities.</p> <p>I have been trying since I discovered the error 6 weeks ago to have the funds recalled/or paid into the correct account but to no avail. I have been pushed from pillar to post with Standard Bank and Investec to get the matter rectified, and to date have not been repaid my R5000.00</p> <p>As a pensioner, R5000.00 is a great deal of money to me, and nothing for Investec Bank. So come on Investec and repay what is not yours.</p>
