Excessive bond cacellation fees

My bond has been paid up fully, thus owing Investec nothing. They instructed an attorney to cancel the bond registration on my title deed. The cost ,without any will to negotiate amount close to R6000. I can instruct my own attorney to cancel the bond registration at a cost of R1000, but not allowed because they are not on Investec's panel.
