Banker seemingly unavailable

I am happy with the bank, but at the moment I am unsure whether there is any use in me paying such a large bank fee and having a private banker. I am currently in the process of buying a car which will be financed by Investec, if I can ever complete the transaction.

The banker in question seems to always be busy and never has time to reply to e-mail queries. A few months ago when I needed assistance another woman helped me instead of him. Now a different person altogether is helping me again, and since she is attending training this week I now have to resend details to another woman to complete the process (after I had sent two e-mails asking about proceeding with the transaction).

When I initially asked how the process works he took two days to get back to me and apparently thought an appropriate time to phone me was after hours. I had to ask him about turnaround time before he even mentioned that taking two days was inappropriate.

I would not like this person to contact me relating to the query because I am basically just done with it. He has no time, then I have no time left over to listen to excuses. I am never sure who I can contact at the bank to assist me since I have no assurance that there will be any type of response back. If my allocated banker can never help me, then you should reconsider your approach and might as well consider FNB's plan where any banker who is available can assist you since I certainly don't hear complaints of this nature from friends who bank with them.
