Stay Far Away

This company was used as a partner company to Mr Cheap Transport. At the start of my dealings with Mr Cheap Transport I felt that the service was excellent. The feedback received from Marcelle was great. The collection in Durban (from their partner - Intertrans Movers KZN) was good with friendly and happy staff.

I was then asked to write a review to "win a prize"- I understand now why they asked for the review prior to me receiving my furniture and boxes!!!

My furniture did not leave Durban as per the dates given to me and left about two weeks later..... the reasoning for this was I was on a "shared load" - BUT I could have been notified by Intertrans or they should have notified Mr Cheap Transport - which did not happen????

My furniture eventually arrived in CPT and went into storage. When redelivery was made I noticed a number of my boxes were torn open, there were breakages despite being marked fragile ... not only of glass but of appliances (toaster) too - which suggests the boxes were not carefully handled.

My furniture also had a number of marks on them which were not there prior to the move.

I have also had 2 x boxes go missing - I notified them in MAY and am still waiting for clarity???? Had to send another email to which Lizette (Mr Cheap) who responded that they couldn't find it in their storage so they are checking with the transporter (Intertrans). One of the broken open boxes had my sons world cup soccer ball collection and these were removed...every single one!

I certainly wouldn't recommend these people for a national move. No care was taken with our belongings and no care is taken now looking for the missing items which I am certain will not be found - No apology either!
