Poor Professionalism and Politics

<p>It seems that the bane of all moving company's existences is their predictability to always be late for pickup and delivery (in my case over two weeks late for delivery). It seems that only my continuous harassment of their phonelines and my sob story of having slept on the floor for the past two months seemed to spur them on to delivery my goods after calling me for the THIRD time to postpone the delivery date. </p> <p>I had organized the move with SA Movz who had subsequently subcontracted to Intertrans Movers. Not only was I then told to deal with Intertrans directly when enquiring about pickup and delivery (WHAT WAS I PAYING ALL THE EXTRA MONEY TO SA MOVZ FOR, IF NOT TO DO ALL THIS ADMIN), but when I refused to do this and involved SA Movz into the situation of the repeated postponement, I was CC'ed into a very ugly email from SA Movz to Intertrans. A lot of capital letters and threatening words were used, SA Movz having sweared off using the service of Intertrans as similar problems were encountered before on multiple occasions. As you can imagine, this immediately soured the relationship with Intertrans Movers. After the delivery I emailed both companies about two missing items (of personal value only) and I was basically accused of making these items up and then of accusing them of *****ing it. Why would I accuse them of stelaing it when it had no monetary value, only sentimental value. I was assured that they would look for it once everything was unloaded. This was in March. Since this last communication, I have NOT HEARD ONE WORD from them regarding my missing items. </p> <p> </p> <p>The service I received was completely UNACCAPTABLE, UNPROFESSIONAL and OVERALL POOR. As a customer I do not want to be pulled into the politics between you and your subcontracter (which you should not have used in the first place as it seems this was not the first time they delivered poor service). Also, it seemed like a lot of effort was placed into writing very aggressive emails and not a whole lot of effort was placed into efficiently organizing and ensuring delivery of my goods. </p> <p> </p> <p>I WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND EITHER COMPANIES TO FUTURE MOVERS!!!</p>
