Beyond disappointed
They were quick to provide quotes and ask for payments before delivery. On the day of pick up, they used handwritten labels to mark my boxes, even though I marked all my boxes with a permanent marker. Upon delivery, I had a wet sofa (which was wrapped in plastic), damaged and torn bags, a torn leather base set (which was wrapped as it was brand new) delivered to my delivery point. They also delivered an item which didn't belong to me. They delivered 1 box short of my total 60 items and to this date no one has given me any feedback as to what possibly went wrong. On countless occasions I've tried to get a hold of this company and the only reply I get is "Nisha will call you", but days go by and I get no call. This type of response happened 3x. Whilst I know nothing personally will come off this and that my last box, which was queen sized linen and bath sheets, is now sitting comfortably in someone's home, I think this company could use a customer service department and learn to own up to their mistakes. We're all human and we're all perfectly flawed but some sort of some communication from this company would have at least given them a better rating from me. I'm disappointed that a company as big as Intertrans needed micromanaging in order to provide a service that seems pretty simple if there's proper procedures and accountability in place. Nonetheless, I wish Intertrans well and hope they close the gaps on their loopholes soon.
