Very Poor Services - Intercare Mall@R55

I am sure they will respond with a "Good day, we value your feedback, blah blah" and do nothing about it as I have seen other complaints with the same response.

Here goes, my wife has visited Intercare Mall@R55 2-3 times and in those instances the quality of service from the Doctors was top notch, never-mind the attitude of the receptionists.

In comes me and my 5year old daughter on 24-06-2021 with Flu-like symptoms which in today's world have/must be seen as high-risk or whatever the term might be. Our appointments are separate, for me 16:45, and for my young one 17:15.. we were sent by the receptionist to a separate waiting room, rightly so to avoid any spread of covid-19.. we waited until my daughter of 5 went and asked if we were in the right room, 5 minutes later we were called into another room where the nurse did 1. Checking/Monitoring of Pulse , 2. My daughter's body weight taken, 3. My High-Blood Pressure checked, 4. Temperature for both of us taken as well. (The Nurse made a comment to her fellow nurse about the receptionist wondering why she didn't say anything to them and she said, I quote "she was in a hurry to knock-off I guess")

Now into the doctor's room we were sent and waited we did. Doctor strolls in, apologises as she was not aware that there were patients waiting as she was not updated.... she then asks us what's wrong, we explain, she looks at my daughter and mentions she looks "better" than I do, which is indeed a fact. Anyway I explain what I am struggling with (i.e from Monday evening started having a sore throat, woke up Tuesday with a headache, runny nose, sore throat, painful cough and body aches), Wednesday/Thursday (Today), not much of a terrible headache, but sore throat, runny nose, painful cough. No examination done by the doctor, asks if I want to do a covid-19 test (of course I do, it's 2021 and I have flu-like symptoms, I mean.... hello?).

Anyway, goes out the doctor, comes back +-5mins later, gives us two prescriptions and a lancet form to take to lancet tomorrow morning. No examinations/checks done by the doctor, you know the usual checks done by doctors, no medication provided other than the prescriptions even though you can tell it's 18:30 and Dischem Pharmacy near by is closed..but maybe that's ok, I am not a doctor after all, just a patient.

Nonetheless, no feedback was given as well on the checks done by the Nurse on myself and my daughter.. I mean is my high blood ok or not?, Is our temperature ok or not? Is my daughter's body weight good/bad?

1. Give your staff name tags so we can report them, they seem to get away with it since they know a "Good day, thanks for your response" is the Netcare response. 2. Take them to customer service training so they can really uphold Netcare's Values 3. Some professionalism across the board (I admit, for this one a few bad apples sort of makes them rotten, the name tags will help as we will). 4. The time spent there, +- 1hour and 40minutes is not an issue, I dont mind waiting > 2hours as long as we are not forgotten in some room (twice). 5. Half-hearted Kudos to the two Nurses who were taking our temperatures etc, as mentioned above (again name tags would help so we can give a compliment where it's due).. or maybe it was their duty and not the doctor's to provide us with Feedback on the tests, again I am no medical employee so I don't know.
