Sent me to a GP after requesting to see a dentist

Horrible experience and unprofessional stuff who mixes up bookings!

Part 1: Both my husband and mom called in to ask for the soonest appointment to see a dentist as I was in severe pain. Appointment was confirmed and arrived and everything was going okay until the lady that was doing the consultation told me "there's not much I can do, you going to need to see a dentist". Confused, upset and in pain I left because I needed to confirm with my mom and husband about the booking they set for me. Both of them called in and specifically asked for a dentist, when my mom called in again after the incident the receptionist even said I remember you calling in and asking for a dentist so I'll have to escalate the matter to upper management.

Part 2: After investigation the manager calls me and tries to gaslight me into believing it was my fault "Did you not visit a dentist before? Did you not know what a dentist room looks like?" I wasn't aware all dentist rooms looked alike or I was hired to furnish their rooms. After telling her the last time I actually went to the dentist I was a kid and this was my first time at this practice and the lady was in fact checking my teeth so I didn't at first see a need to be suspicious she goes "oh was your matter resolved?". I don't think the GP would of recommend I go see a dentist if she was able to resolve my issue?!? Not to mention she said she saw the appointment was made on Saturday at 11am for 12:15 when in fact the appointment was booked the day before and I have the call records to prove it. So either this practice continues to lie about their ethics or the manager did not do a proper investigation.

Part 3: The manager said she now will have to go back and ask the GP what happened at the appointment and was she able to assist me because "sometimes GPs can assist in such matters and maybe that's why I was sent there". As a customer I specifically requested to see a dentist and should they not been to find me an available dentist it should have been communicated with me so I have the opportunity to decide whether or not I want to rather go the GP or not as I am the one paying! I want a full refund as I was under false pretense that I was seeing a dentist!

Also not once did the manager take accountability for her staff incorrectly booking my appointment!
