If you care about the well-being of your loved ones, do not take them to Intercare Silver Lakes.

The treatment at this facility is shockingly substandard.

The staff is consistently rude, unprofessional, and self-righteous. They act as though doing their job that they get paid for is a favor, offering little to no genuine care or assistance.

There have been instances where staff members help themselves to food and treats that families bring for the patients, without asking for permission. When the patient says no, the staff is offended and treat the patients very badly.

The meals provided are often inedible for elderly patients, especially those who struggle to chew or have no teeth, leaving them underfed and neglected. Someone with more than 2 brain cells can think for themselfve that these patients cant chew this food.

Patients, many of whom are immobile, are told to throw away their own trash, even though they can't see or reach the trash bin.

When the staff brings food or drinks, they will put it on the mobile tables , but they will put the mobile table out of reach of the patients. leaving the food and driks to spoil over time as they cant reach.

The staff handles the patients with disturbing roughness, showing little compassion for their frail condition.

Even more concerning, patients are left unattended for long periods. It’s not uncommon for patients to sit on bedpans for hours before receiving assistance.

Many are left in soiled nappies for extended periods, without being cleaned or changed after being asked to assist.

When patients ring the alarm for help, the staff takes an unacceptably long time to respond, and when they finally do, their attitude is dismissive and rude, as if the patients are a burden for expecting basic care that they are paid to do.

Staff will take medication from a specific patient and give it to another patient. Wich is realy dangerous as it can cause seriuos harm or even death.

If a patient disagree with the staff or express concerns, they will backchat, be rude and even intimidate the patients when no one else is around, making the situation even more distressing for those in their care.

To make matters worse, the staff treat the hallways like a social gathering, loudly chatting and carrying on without any regard for the patients who need a calm and restful environment.

Most of the patients just take this bad treatment as they are concerned/scared if they do complain they will get even worse treatment.

Do not take your loved ones to this facility. They will be treated poorly, neglected, and disrespected.
