Excessive tariffs charged at dental practice without prior communication

Long story short. Dental tariffs are not charged at medical aid tariffs and it is not communicated prior to visits. I went to see the practice manager at Wonderboom in person to discuss - she was not able to advise specifically what % above medical aid - she would need to discuss with the dentist. Feedback only stated that they have reviewed it and decided no discount is due. R1309.50 copayment after a dentist visit is just not acceptable, especially since we are on a higher plan on our medical aid, and did not have similar co-payments at our previous dentist that has since retired. I do not know if this is the same at all Intercare dental practices but unfortunately I cannot recommend anyone to make use of the dental care practice at Intercare Wonderboom.
