Dr Nieuwoudt and Partners aka Dr Nieuwoudt.

I have been to Intecare Parow a few times already & have seen various doctors. Some of the doctors I have seen in the past year is no longer there. Today I discovered why. On this bright and sunny Saturday I got to see Dr Nieuwoudt of Niewoudt and Partners aka Intercare Parow for the very first time. My immediate impression of him wasn't positive. He made no attempt to connect with me as the patient on a human level. I found him to be narcissistic and judgemental and that didn't bode well for me as it put me on the deffensive. I go to a medical professional for their expert "opinion" not their judgement. I am an adult. Do not TELL me what to do. Tell me that based on my history and your examination of me, you feel compelled to caution me in certain regards. Do not tell me that I HAVE to do this and that. It is my body, my choices and I alone bear the consequences of the decisions I make in life. I do not need a ***** with a clearly over inflated ego to dictate to me. To add insult to injury, I got the impression from the get go that I am being rushed in order for you to get to the next patient. Nobody died and appointed you God. You are a human being like me and God equipped you with the knowledge and know-how to help your fellow man. Do not abuse it. You did not get to your position by your own power and do not take the man in the street for a nobody that you can just shoo aside. What you represent disgust me.
