Complaint Dr Botes Dentist Blaauwberg Intercare

I went for a dentists appointment to Blaauwberg Intercare to Dr Botes, and had to sign a form prior to being seen. Amongst other clauses, the form had a R50 fee for PPE gear, which I assumed was gear that would be given to me as no explanations were provided. With no gear provided, I had my appointment and left. Only to receive a statement from Dr Botes’ a few weeks later requesting payment of the R50. I was told that I had to pay R50 for the Drs PPE! Although the amount is trivial, It’s shocking that I should pay the Dr for her PPE when I came in with my own mask! I’m unsure if this is common practice at other medical centers. When I displayed my shock and refusal to pay to the receptionist, who I must say was wonderful (I think her name’s Mia), she took that message back. She reverted saying that the Dr will write off the R50 but the Dr will not be able to treat me in future! I responded that Dr Botes is not someone I wish to have treat me as well.
