CHARGED FOR DOCTOR'S MASK

Totally shocked at INTERCARE MILNERTON that I'm sitting with a bill of R42 for the doctors PPE? Why must I pay for his mask? If I knew I would be billed for him wearing a mask, I would not have gone. Surely this must be explained before you see the doctor. Why not bill me for the ladies sitting at reception also? When I queried this, the lady who answered the phone was so rude and put the phone down in my ear. I still wanted to make a dental appointment for my husband, so I had to call back.

How can you charge patients for wearing PERSONAL Protective Equipment? It is Personal. Why charge me? I was told I will have to pay lawyers for not paying for his PPE which is going to cost me more, the lady told me when I queried the bill. Initially I was so impressed with this Branch but clearly I'm not anynore
