Best Dr experience ever

I have never had a bad experience before, but my last experience will make me only ever return here.

My 2 year old was at school when a bookshelf fell on him. There were minor bruises and I as a mom knew everything was fine, but the school wanted me to be sure and have him checked.

Intercare very friendly in no time booked me an appointment with a Dr Opperman. When we arrived, the ladies at the reception was so kind and extremely friendly with my toddler. Which I absolutely loved.

I got to the waiting room where we were also greeted very kindly and we played with the cars they had in the kiddies section. He so much enjoyed himself.

Dr Opperman came to fetch him and assured him to bring the car with, coz you know, taking a car from a toddler may be the biggest mistake ever.

We went to the room and he took interest in my little boy, asking him to show him his car and when he got closer picked him up and placed him on the bed.

Instead of just inserting things in his eyes and ears he let him look at it and shine the light into his car.

He knew to shine in mommy's eyes first and then "your turn" same with the ears.

Very kind, professional and yet playful with a small patient.

The best any Dr has ever treated my son and he has been very sickly.

Sometimes we're so focused on the job that we forget to be kind while doing it and forget that it's a human with actual feelings and emotions, even when they're babies.

It's the small things l, but this was big for me.
