Consumer Council needs to see this.

Intellicell Intellicell intellicell. Well I have 2 contracts with them of witch i pay R800 a month, funny thing is those phones only cost R4500 each yet I have paid just over R16000 with +-2 months left to go. If you want a contract my advice is buy the phone and get a sim only contract. Their upgrade the best phone is a Huawei Y7 2019 which retails for R2999.00 and the charge you R449 per month at the end of your 24 months you would have paid R10776 for a device that cost you R2999.00. You could have purchased 3 of those phones. They ripp people off cause people are hard up at the time and after sales there is no service at all not even their social media sites. When approaching them I was told that if I don't like what they have then I must cancel, I was willing to do so but was told that I had to pay an additional 5000 + in in order for them to cancel. They send you an sms to confirm payment for December when you reply to that sms they double debit you anyway. Yes it was sorted out but should not have happened in the first place. I am disgusted in how Intellicell prays on the less fortunate people and the people who are hard up. I do wonder what the consumer Council will say about this as not even Vodacom, MTN, Cell C or Telkom who are leading network providers ripp their clients off like Intellicell.
