Bank charges.......

I signed a cell phone contract with these ppl in Dec 2019 for 24months understand a contract is a valid document, COVID 19 happened and life changed Salaries were cut and no income earned , what i don't understand is that they can still debit an account that isn't active and when asking them to please not debit this account they say they cant the contract will make an attempt to debit for 24month regardless of payment plan so i must be held liable for R18k failed debits on the bank account and the account with them in arrears this make no sense at all im telling you dont debit the account and the woman tells me no they will........
