AVOID THE DRAMA DON'T DO IT.
No matter how desperate you are, don't do it. Rather go get yourself a tilili ngwana mme.
1. My first contract ended after 12 months, I emailed them 2 months before the end of the contract asking them to cancel. I emailed them again a month before end of contract. They still debited my bank account for 2 more months after cancellation. Then they tell me if I don't cancel before the contract is up it just continues. HELLOOOO I CANCELLED!
Needless to say I got my refund eventually because I had all my requests in writing.
2. Two years later I decide maybe lemme get a new phone cause this one's no longer working so lekker. I get the Hauwei Y5p. The phone arrives without administrative rights, it's been set up as a company phone. I do not work for Intellicell. According to intellicell's "intelligent" staff, the software doesn't affect your phone at all however, the phone itself clearly states that the software has access to your emails, contacts, apps and can delete or add applications.
How you gonna try to convince me that the phone is lying when it's clearly telling me what permissions this installed app has. I asked to cancel the contract and was charged R900 cancellation fee. Imagine! I paid it though, I'm not about to argue with a fool. Then they still debited my account for the the once off fee and monthly charge.
Going on 2 weeks now, I'm still trying to get a refund.
Do yourself a favor, save up and get a cheap decent phone on cash. This company is full of drama and their customer service needs further technical and soft skills training.
