Failed cancellation
Good Day,
Trust you well.
Please note after I received a call with regards to your services the next day I asked the lady named Amy to please not go ahead with the service, she told me she will check if the documents have not gone through as yet.
If I am not mistaken that same day later on at night I received a call from Anthea letting me know that my documents have gone through and the service will start on the 25th May 2024. I told Anthea I had mentioned to Amy that I don't want to go through with the services. I explained everything to her and she told me that she would definitely investigate as she was not aware. I begged her to sort it out as i was not comfortable with the service and the reason for that was, after i received the first call explaining the whole debit review service the guy told me he had gotten my documents / call from FNB, when i contacted FNB they told me they had not done such a thing and not aware of this being communicated to them. Hence I had decided to cancel and not go ahead with the service.
Now an amount of R4393.63 has been deducted from my account after I was told it will be sorted before the 25th May but clearly it hasn't been.
Saturday morning I called Anthea. She did not answer but she was online.
she mentioned that she was able to cancel but my question is, when was it cancelled and why haven't I received any communication about it. Then she tells me i need to pay an application fee of R5000, what application fee is this.
Please may I request this matter to be sorted and for a refund to be made.
I am honestly unhappy with how this whole matter has been handled and will definitely take it up if the matter is not resolved.
I have attached the whatsapp messages between Amy and I as well as Anthea's conversation. These conversations were done from the 10th May up until now.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Kind regards,
