Absolutely Appalling Service and Vehicle from Infinite Auto
I purchased a vehicle from Infinite Auto in June 2024, and from the very beginning, it was clear something wasn't right. The car has been plagued with issues and spent more time in the shop than on the road.
Despite numerous attempts to resolve the problems, with the vehicle being returned to Infinite Auto multiple times over several months, the issues persisted. Each time, they would claim to have fixed various things – a sensor here, a filter there – but the car would inevitably break down again within a few days.
After months of frustration, countless wasted hours, and Infinite Auto ultimately refusing to provide any further assistance, I was left to deal with the mess myself. This resulted in me spending over R30,000 of my own money on various mechanics trying to get to the bottom of the persistent issues. To add insult to injury, this left me without a reliable vehicle for the majority of the time since my purchase - I'd estimate I was without a car for 80% of the last few months! This caused significant inconvenience and disruption to my life, impacting both my work and personal commitments.
In the end, I found an independent mechanic who was able to diagnose and fix the problem within a few days! This just highlights the incompetence and lack of care I experienced at Infinite Auto. They clearly had no idea what they were doing, and simply strung me along while my money and time were wasted.
It's only now, after many months of struggle and those additional expenses, that I finally have a functioning car again. This entire experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. The lack of support and the complete disregard for my situation displayed by Infinite Auto is utterly unacceptable.
I would strongly advise anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from Infinite Auto to think twice. Their poor-quality vehicles, questionable repair practices, and abysmal customer service make them a dealership to avoid at all costs.
