Who cancelled my cover?

<p>This morning (30 March 2017) my work laptop was ****** from my car. In the laptop bag there were my home spare keys, my personal paper (payslip, CV, copies of my qualification) and other few things. Meaning the ***** has my home address and my home spare keys. I phoned Indwe because I want to replace the locking systems for my home (small gate, big gate, battler and main door).</p> <p><br />I talked to a lady by the name of Slindile, she told me that my insurance/cover was cancelled on 10 February. I asked WHO cancelled my cover and WHY - I am not aware that my cover was cancelled. She then said my cover was moved to Santam SOS and she transferred me Santam. At Santam and talked to a lady who told me i don't exist in their system. I then phoned Indwe again and they told me the same thing. Then I phoned Santam on ***and talked to a male by the name of Dada who told me the same thing that my details does not appear anywhere on their system - meaning I don't exist in their system. </p> <p><br />I phoned Indwe again & talked to another lady who told me the same thing that my cover was cancelled and that I must phone between 8 am and 4:30 pm to ask WHO cancelled my cover and for what reason since I did not request for any cancellation.</p> <p><br />I have a crisis and what I thought was my insurance tells me my insurance was cancelled and they don't have answers when I ask Who cancelled. I mean I did not request for any cancellation - what on earth is going on here?</p> <p><br />While I was still shocked and went back to my bank statement to check previous debit order. I then realised that the last debit order was in January 2017, 15 Feb & 15 March 2017 no debit order. Something that I did not realise, simply because I did not request for cancellation. Why was my cover cancelled without my knowledge? What kind of insurer does that? Why did Indwe cancel my cover and stopped debit orders? Without informing me? What is going on? Why was I told that my cover was moved from Indwe to Santam? What is this? How can I be without a cover for 2 month without knowing? Who think they are smart enough to just cancel my cover? Why was I not informed? Why am I being send to Santam when Indwe know well that my name does not appear any in Santam systems?</p>
