Stay FAR.... VERY FAR away from Indwe, Brolink, Hollard and Hoskins. CANCEL immediately if you're still with them!

Between Indwe, Brolink, Hollard, and Hoskins all working together to give the WORST possible service, I wonder how you stay in business! Useless and Pathetic! I claimed for a damaged swimming pool as well as damage to my lounge ceiling caused by the earthquake Gauteng experienced in 2023. Total silence - didn't hear from anybody until after I had to make numerous calls to numbers that were never answered and people who weren't willing to do anything. Finally resorted to email, which also took forever to receive a reply. Finally get a rejection letter after ZERO communication regarding the claim from Yvonne Tobayo on 25 July, listing bad workmanship by whoever installed the ceiling and the wrong nails used, refer vaguely to the National Building Regulations etc. etc. Outright refusal on swimming pool saying it's wear and tear but have all their facts wrong. On the ceiling, they didn't even check that back in 2014, THEIR appointed contractor worked on the very same piece of ceiling that has again come down. I reply with a letter (within my allowed time frame), listing FACTS, the actual passages in SANS 10400, with dates, previous claim numbers, and names of those who were present and responsible. They apologize with the usual cut & paste reply, "Thank you for contacting the Hollard Insure Customer Resolution Team. This is an automated reply to acknowledge receipt of your mail. We will aim to send you a personalised reply within the shortest possible time but not exceeding two working days. We may also ask you for more information if required. If you have any questions or need any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us on *** (standard rates apply)."

YES! That was THEIR reply for the experience and commit to replying - hear NOTHING until 15 November! What happened to the 2 working days??? Then, Tinah Mawunda eventually replies and states very "matter of factly" that they will send the original contractor out to investigate the ceiling. The original contractor that did the repair in 2014 does come out, remembers the job well, checks thoroughly, and does not agree with their assessment; even phones the claims assessor of the 2014 claim in my presence and confirms with him that what he used and what is required to correctly repair the ceiling. Both parties say there is nothing wrong with what was used and how it was repaired. How it was repaired in 2014 is how it would still be repaired now. The contractor says he will send his report to Indwe/Hollard and company. It's now 2024, STILL no word from any company. I contact the original contractor, he confirmed report was sent in. I contact Indwe again, but nobody answers any phone, especially not the number listed on their apology message, consultants are always unavailable, and messages are never returned. Hold for just short of 45 minutes and eventually speak to Jameel for him just to tell me the same old story that my claim was rejected. I KNOW THAT, but I DO NOT ACCEPT your rejection! Didn't put a single bit of effort in to get all the info together, and then leaves work at 16:00 - Really? What kind of service do you think you're offering with such wonderfully short working hours? You don't have a leg to stand on because your facts are incorrect - you tried to pass me off with some nonsense about poor workmanship, wrong nails, nail spacings etc, but I did the research. You are WRONG!! there is NOTHING in the building code that says the installation as it was before the occurrence was in any way in contravention of the building code. Now that you have been exposed, your lies exposed with facts, you want the contractor to do the repair out of his own pocket, and for obvious reasons, he will not do so. You have a perfectly legal and legitimate claim that you are trying to shy away from. I have wasted an unending amount of time and money, trying firstly for you to answer a call and secondly to provide a rational response. It stops here. This bouncing around between 4 different companies is nonsense too! I pay Indwe every month, I couldn't care less if Indwe, Hollard, Brolink, and Hoskins are all part of, or are 1 company - start communicating better and share the information so everyone has the same message at hand immediately! You have happily received my monthly payments without fail from 2007. It's time I put T's and C's on my payments and hold you fully accountable. I am having my own independent and legally accredited assessment done on the swimming pool. We will deal with that as a separate matter. You have ONE FINAL opportunity to handle this matter amicably, after which I will take legal action against you - I have more than enough facts, statements, documents, and evidence to lead a VERY strong case. Can you afford the negative publicity this will cause? I think not! I eagerly await your RAPID, SPEEDY response!

Reviewer Update
You have now had over 7 days (which is more than a few days) to "view my claim file", and once again, there has been NO contact made at all, and NO development or progress. Just like all the previous times.
Are you deliberately stalling and delaying this, hoping that I will abandon this issue?
That's not going to happen. I have told you that this matter will go to court.
Your actions, or rather the lack of, only strengthens my case even more.
