Insurance Claim and Service providers that Indwe uses

December 2017 , my husband was involved on an accident at North Cape , and our vehicle is under Indwe Risk Service , the car was taken to Bloemfontein since it was the nearest place for assessments as well as repairs , the car stayed the the entire festive season which we understood that service providers were closed and all , come January we had to run after everyone about feedback of the vehicle and we called waited all we kept receiving the car will be ready in a day or 2 then we extend hired car , when we call again its either no response or we receive gives us a day or 2 again , we received terrible service from all service providers that Indwe Risk is using at Bloemfontein , after they eventually fixed the car they told us to come collect the car in Bloemfontein which we refused and told them they must arrange how we are receiving our car since they decided to communicate with us when it suits them we need our car , when the car reached where we are it was not in a good state now they are saying everything that we complaining about was not accident related faults , i really dont understand how insurances work we spend years paying without claiming and when you eventually need their help you are not being prioritized you are not given the service that deserve the money they receiving from you , it is really sad . the car now is in bad shape than it was before taking it for repairs.

Morning Thank you for the response but I am worried how long does this assessor takes to investigate this matter because the vehicle is literally falling apart. On the weekend something I didn’t notice before is that, the side skirting’s on the doors were incorrectly put and they are peeling off. Those skirtings’ contain branding where the “s-line” branding goes on to, normally those get to be put on the rear doors and they were put in the front doors, those are the ones peeling of now. I will not be in office from today and should anything come up please do contact me on my cell or the one stated below, because I regard this now as an urgent matter as I cannot be driving around with such a vehicle because it needs to be redone correctly. I hope this reaches your most serious concern.

Good morning My apologies for the delay in reply. The Assessor has informed me as follows: The accident caused by a container/pallet containing glass bottles, fell/dropped onto the vehicle. According to the accident report the vehicle damage was of a cosmetic and aesthetic nature – none of the electronics were worked on or tampered with as the electronics were not damaged by the incident. Please see below the response of the Assessor and confirmed by the panel beater: 1) Bonnet Hydraulic arm – not accident related 2) Hooter – not accident related 3) Wiper spray – not accident related 4) Sunroof – the sunroof was thoroughly inspected by Dent Doctor’s workshop and the assessor and found to be in a 100% satisfactory working condition 5) Engine coolant – not accident related Please note that I have taken the matter up with Dent Doctor and they confirmed the aforementioned. Your mail of 29 January 2018 has also been referred to the Assessor to resolve.

like I said before, the issues I raised were working fine prior to the accident, maybe your assessor did not thoroughly assess my vehicle, even the sunroof makes noise when I open it and that noise was not there and you can hear the glass cracking as it opens. I am now really disappointed at your service as Indwe because i am the owner of the vehicle and the person well informed about the vehicle status before the accident and so if this a problem for Indwe to fix please let me know so i can take further steps on this matter because this is not the vehicle i had before the accident.
