Worst service ever

We bought a Mercedes Benz 2010 C180 at Imperial Germiston. When we test drove the car we told the salesman we liked the car BUT the car was pulling sharply left and the passenger visor was broken. The conditions were that they should fix the left pulling and the visor. We took the car on Friday (13 May 2016) after financing was completed. The passenger visor was still not fixed and the manager told us they had ordered it but it hadn't arrived yet and the salesman would bring it to us and install it, along with the car's license. Before we left we were ensured by the manager that the wheel balancing and alignment were done and the manager told us that he personally drove with the car and it was not pulling to the left anymore. This was not true, because we had not driven 2 kilometres and we could feel the car pulling left. The car was pulling so sharply left if you leave the steering wheel it drives off the road. We phoned the salesman and he told us to take the car to a place near us for balancing and alignment and they would then refund us. The people from Supa Quick informed us that the balancing and alignment were so far out, it could not even register on their machines, which is the latest machines for balancing and alignment. They also told us that all 4 shocks need to be replaced. Furthermore they told us that the one front shock was bent and that could be the reason why the car was still pulling left – even after we did balancing and alignment again on our time on that Friday afternoon. They also told us that the chamber bolt needed to be replaced. The cost was R660 which we paid from our pockets.

We then informed the people from Imperial Select about Supa Quick's comments. They fetched the car the following week to replace the shocks in Germiston. We stay in Pretoria and thus it puts kilometers on out car. They brought back the car the following day and promised us whole heartedly that the car did not pull left anymore and the shocks were replaced. When we drove on the highway the first time after that we immediately felt the car pulling sharply left just as it was. We sent the salesman videos about how the car almost drove off the road, which he ignored. The following Monday 23 May we took the car to our own car workshop and they told us that the caster and chamber bolts needed replacement and they said the tires needed replacement. Thereafter we informed Imperial to which they said they would replace the tires. We said we are tired of putting kilometers on our car and we want it fixed near us. They ignored this request. After phone calls, whatsapps and emails every day we decided to drive to Germiston Hi-Q ourselves today 3rd of June.

The people from Imperial Select Germiston have still not refunded our R660 which we paid, they give NO feedback even when promised and they ignore our emails. The passenger visor has also not been fixed. This is the worst service we have ever experienced.

We are still not sure if replacing the tires will solve the problem of the car pulling left.
