Will never drive a Renault again.

I am in the process of retiring and it is normally a time to look forward too. But this is turning into a nightmare thanks to Renault Service Centre Paardeneiland. I bought a Renault Megane III Dynamique 2010 model in March 2014. The car was spotless and had just ove 40 000 km on the clock. The aircon broke down in August 2014 and I was told that it was the aircon fan. They then replaced the fan and then found out it was the fan resistor so they replaced it too. All this was done under the manufactorers warranty. I took out an extra 2 year warranty with SA Warranties. On 9 March 2016 the fan stopped working again. It was again the fan resistor and I was told that SA Warranties does not cover it. They had to fly the part in from France and eventually the car was fixed on 28 June 2016 at a cost of R 2 666.00 to me. Almost 4 months after it broke down and I was told I get a 12 month warranty on the job. I drove the car for just over a month and the fan stopped working again. I took it in on Monday 8 August and now I am told it is the aircon fan, again not covered by SA Warranties and they sent me a quote for over R 12 000.00. I have now decided to trade the car in as is and buy a Ford. After having driven Renaults for years I will never drive one again.
