Vehcile no service record

I bought a Chevy Spark vehicle in February 2015. Vehicle was sold to me with the following: vehicle full service history with agents and full vehicle check by dealer. We had then only afterwards realized the vehicle didn't have a service history. The sales man also promised us that the vehicle went for a full check, where after I had to take the vehicle to replace the brakes. The dealer also sold a service plan to us which I will not be able to use because the services of the vehicle were not done.
