Unsatisfied Customer from purchase to date - Motus Select Table View (it's shocking to read so many similar reviews from this place).

Renault kwid - purchased 2023 (NOT EVEN A YEAR OLD) - Motus Select (Table View)

My Email below to the dealership - AWAITING assistance on this matter. (I want this sorted).

Managers emailed & have not received a response from either of them to date, a full week gone! *** ***

I write to you with great disappointment and dissatisfaction!

I have an open job cart that was scheduled for today but I have decided not to attend as I am not agreeing to what was concluded last Wed, 28th Feb 2024 - I AM NOT ALLOWING YOU TO REMOVE MY GEARBOX FOR CLUTCH INSPECTION.

My Renault kwid I have purchased from you just last year (2023) not even a year old, have seen your dealership numerous times for numerous reasons!

Below are the number of issues experienced & to date, experiencing with what was supposed to be a "demo vehicle" .

- rattle on the car (pointed out on the day the vehicle was delivered) - driver and sales man witnesses to this, car then got booked in to see to the rattle/shudder, feed back received from mechanic/Renault was that there was no issue with the clutch and that it was "set to perfection". The rattle/shudder was still there!

- spots of rust was discovered with our first wash of the car, this too was reported and I was told that together with the side mirrors that "was sold to me" full of scratches could be looked at when I bring it in again.

- Not forgetting my rear window that opened and could not close late last year before the service, where I had to once again come in to you, sacrificed time and uplanned expenses to bring it in and have it fixed. This to me is way beyond RIDICULOUS!!!

- the car went in for a service Nov 2023 and I have again asked all of the above to be attended to but then it never got done.

- 28 Feb 2024 - the vehicle was booked in for brake replacement, rust to be checked out, mirror covers to be done but the one refered me to the other where the initial agreement of the mirrors were discussed, it was not done (point is, the vehicle was sold in a problematic condition) - dealership problem. Professionalism would be trying to assist best way possible not referring your client from one end to the other. Feedback I received last week 28th Feb, after a full day of waiting, sacrifices made, time offered up to bring in the vehicle and provision I had to make to get to and from locations to suit the scheduled times of your dealership with issues that I should've never had, I feel it completely unacceptable that I be scheduled for all these to be fixed at my expense. aside from the expenses, travelling to and from your dealership, I don't feel this necessary at all. This is so tiring to say the least!

The vehicle was looked at and they've concluded, no brakes needed replacement, the squeaking sound coming from the brakes from time to time is normal due to a fitting they had to remove after the bulletin was released last year... This was the first I heard! With the rattle/shudder it was said they need approval from liquid capital after pics are submitted & only if LC agrees to cover the costs, Renault orders the part and only then starts working on shudder/rattle (I was told it shouldn't take more than 2 days - mind you, you're dealing with a working client).

I will not agree to the above because I do not see why I should give consent for my gearbox to be removed for a clutch inspection when the car was delivered to me in this condition, with shudder. My question to you, Why did it take so long for the dealership to finally figure that it is in fact a big problem???

With collection of my vehicle last Thursday, I released handbrake, released clutch and there was a new sound...! The feel of the clutch release was equivalent to hand brakes being up and trying to release clutch and pull away... It took two trips for the release to feel normal and sound to finally go away which tells me the brakes were worked on and something was changed as handbrake were set aswell.

It frustrates & upsets me for the timeless reports I have given you and to date things has not been looked at properly and others, such as the shudder just got worse.

Note - I purchased this vehicle for my every day use and all this is a HUGE INCONVENIENCE!!!

The car was handed to me in this state, with the shudder, day1 which I discovered later the evening driving home from work which I reported immediately. A week or two later when the driver hand delivered the number plates to me, he tested my findings and was able to confirm with your dealership.

What reason do you need to evaluate whether it's client negligence and decide from there whether it will infact be covered????

I don't see how it becomes my problem or why you'd make it my problem now that your dealership finally realise that there is a problem! I want this dealt with and not at my expense nor with any inconvenience, I am not willing to pay for another means of transport while you sort out your mess!

I cannot keep up anymore. I've had more problems with the purchase of this "new vehicle" than any I had with the old I got rid of...!

Fyi - the reason I booked the car for the brakes... The car brakes different, it makes the wheel caps completely black with sound and you have to brake so hard to get a deadbrake.

With ALL said & elaborated , let me know how you RENAULT chose to fix what was broken and give me a PERFECT, HASSLE FREE car as promised.
