They sold me a problematic car

It is now September, exactly 9 months paying for a car I cannot use.

From the round about I have been having from August 2016, I am very unhappy with Imperial Select Northcliff service handling and how they treat a customers concern.

My car had been in and out of their workshop and it came back with the same problem and more!!!!!

I got a quote of R17 000.00 in January 2017 form a Pretoria Motor dealer ,from that very same car I bought from them, and they had claimed to had repaired it!!!!!

7 months down the line , my car was than analyzed by their choice of warranty given to me, and now there is a balance of R5000.00 from R15 000.00 THAT I MUST PAY IN ORDER TO DRIVE MY CAR AGAIN, I had been financially inconvenience for over 8 months and had to arrange alternative transports months after months , where exactly should I get that, why must I be held liable for the financial constraints of a car that was , from DAY 1 a problem and they did'nt fix it!!

They must pay for this!!!! I have lost over 34 000.00 already !!!!! for a car I am not using!!!!!!!

Good morning Mrs Molala. This is about your 3 post on HelloPeter about this matter.

Below is my reply I posted on this site when you opened another ticket in early August

"Official business reply:"

Good afternoon Mrs Molala

You reported this matter to the MIO, and I have just been copied in on their response which was sent to you and the dealer concerned. We agreed that we would abide with the MIO ruling, and you were sent their ruling on the 31st July, where they ruled that the dealership had done more than what was required, and they ruled the matter as closed. As per the correspondence sent to you, if you are in disagreement with their ruling you may approach the National Consumer Commission. I do believe the dealer tried to trade in your vehicle as well, but you did not want your instalments to go up so a deal could not be agree upon.

Regards

Mike Dovey

Dear Mike The dealer had decided to not have any paper trail just so they can glide through this case freely THEY KNEW EXACTLY WHAT THEY WERE DOING FROM DAY1, I am still paying for the car and still not using it, where will I find R5000.00 to pay the balance of the gear-box that was replaced, the gearbox that was a problem FROM DAY 1, furthermore , the bearings of this car are still a problem as stated last year July. So once again as I responded to you MORE THAN ONCE, your responses do not give me a functional car and therefore useless ! I AM AN UNHAPPY CLIENT OF IMPERIAL SELECT AMD I WILL POST EVERYDAY ABOUT THIS PROBLEM. WHY SHOULD I BE FINANCIALLY INCONVENIENCED FOR A TRADE IN? FOR A CAR THAT WAS SOLD TO BE WITH PROBLEMS, PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE THE FACTS!!!!!!! All this is frustrating and pretty revolting! I have lost over R34000.00 !!!!
