Sold out from under us - despite agreement

This review relates to our experience at Renault Tokai Motus.

Incredibly disappointing experience trying to buy a second hand car. We looked at the car at around midday and agreed the salesperson would get back to us with a detailed offer. He did this later in the afternoon and we agreed we would come in the next day to sign the forms and bring in the required documents.

Twelve minutes later we received a what's app saying that the car had been sold to someone with pre-approved financing and that the salesperson we had worked with had not been aware of this.

It would appear that neither communications between salespeople nor honouring agreements are part of Motus' operating procedures.
