Slip-shod service

We bought a Suzuki SX4 from the Tokai branch of this multifranchise. Initially, we were quite impressed with the speed with which they found the make and model we wanted. But then the problems started. First, it was difficult for them to process money comming in from abroad, so we had to wait nearly a fortnight for them to see that the money was in their account before they would proceed. Then they forgot to fix a broken spot-light, so more time passed while that was happening. Then it turned out that the registration documents had been left behind in Jo'burg, so more time passed. Then they had problems re-registering the vehicle, and more time passed. We had been quite patient about all this, but finally began to be quite annoyed, so Imperial let us have the car under temporary registration. Now that we have got it home we find that it is missing the log book and owner's manual, and the spare key has a dead battry. Our salesman assures us that he will get replacements, but does not seem to take on board that we do not want some sort of log book or other. We want the one with the actual history of this vehicle. We begin to wonder if they are trying to hide something about the car's history.
Throughout this saga, there has been an endless proliferation of excuses about each problem. We do not think that we can recommed this car dealership to anyone!
