Shocking shocks supp**** as OEM
I took my car in for a service on the 14th of October at Daihatsu Midrand. Was told that my shocks were leaking, indicating that they should be replaced. These shocks were replaced by Daihatsu Midrand themselves, in February 2015 and had done 17000 km's only! My complaint on this was met with a promise to get a parts credit done for me. I have contacted the customer department as well, with no luck. These parts are still under warranty as is the repairs if I am not mistaken? What really gets me is the price of these parts (which are dealer supp**** only). This year alone, I have spent over R 20 000 on maintenance and repairs, now it seems I have to pay even more to get this sorted out. This has really left a bad taste in my mouth, and I will not be looking at EVER purchasing my next new vehicle from any of these affiliated dealers.
