Poor service

We purchased a pre owned vehicle from Ford diep river 8 months ago, we logged an issue with the sales person who has been the sales person we have been dealing with for a few years . He had helped through all my sales purchased prior to this faulty vehicle . Below was the details sent to the branch manages he has still not rep**** or made further contact.

Thanks for taking the time in sending us a lengthy email but I am not interested in your policy at the moment , it clear to me that you are choosing to stand out of the water. You company is offering to purchase part of a battery as if you are not at fault let’s get to the fact here quick: We purchase a vehicle pre-owned vehicle from a well reputable brand called “Motus Ford” We have purchased multiple vehicles from this dealership before Out of all the vehicles purchased we never had battery issues ,we never had a wear and tear issue with a vehicle within a span of 8 months This particular vehicle stopped working out of randomness and my husband had to jump start it , he then reported it, and the vehicle was booked When it was booked it, we received a report stating the vehicle was in a functional state The next day or two the vehicle did not want to start , we called in and reported it , my husband spoke to someone in the service centre, and they arranged to send someone out , he confirmed it was the battery. He also mentioned the battery gets charged at the service centre that way it would not detect if it were fault or not .

If we made the decision to by a vehicle from guy down the road knowing a few months down the line we will have issues ,sure I would accept fault but I’m not willing to accept the fact that you are telling me I have to pay for part of a battery . We purchased the vehicle from your dealership within good faith that it is not defective , it clear that you are being misleading and now you are choosing not to take full responsibility.

I am not willing to pay for a battery. May last resort would be to drop the vehicle off at the dealership and you can make a decision on your next steps .
