POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, POOR CAR QUALITY

Hi there

Kindly assist me here with a matter I have regarding a car I purchased from Imperial Select about a year ago.
‎
My ordeal started on the 3rd of November this year when my less than a year old car broke down an FAW Sirius S80. I had it towed to the IMPERIAL SELECT centre in Randburg for repairs. Upon their initial inspection they told me it was a clutch problem, it was surprising since the car was still technically new. A day passed and they came back and told me cylinder needs to be replaced. Now this was shocking for a "new car". I asked them when will it be replaced and have my car back, they told me that they don't have the parts here in SA and they have to be ordered from oversees, which might take 21 days to reach here.

I then requested a courtesy car in the min time then, to which they refused. I was in protest over this since my belief was that this was poor workmanship and quality of their products, so I took the matter to their head office AMH and there was no assistance. The lady there at customer care by the name of Ororiseng Moloisane told me that upon her enquiries she found that my car parts will arrive on the 25November, Come 25 November I enquired with no responce from her. Only yesterday she responded saying she have no idea on when my car parts will arrive. When I enquire at the branch they also dont know

I have been without my car since 20 May and everytime I ask for feedback I'm told they are waiting for China to get back to them, yet when I ask them when are they expecting to have those part in SA they tell me they don't know saying it might take another three weeks. ‎

Now I don't know how AMH or IMPERIAL SELECT conducts their business but certainly logic tell me if I order something from wherever, there will be some indication as to when I'll have it, in this case IMPERIAL SELECT doesn't know. I've tried a number of times to escalate this further to senior management and failed, seems like it all fell over deaf ears.

I appeal to you to assist as a result of this I've lost so much . I've accumulated too much debt now as a result of hiring a car and I believe I should be compensated for this.

Please intervene, I need my car back, every month I'm faced with paying for instalments and insurance for a car I have not used. ‎

The Service Manager has confirmed that the part is on back order with FAW SA and have not received a date yet as to when they can expect the part. We have also taken your complaint up with the Head of Customer Care at AMH Importers.

Can you please tell me something I dont know, because now you basically telling me what I know and wrote above.

How is it possible for a company to order something and dont know when to receive it? Or they simply dont care.?

Have they ever made means to follow up with this order because to me the fact that no one bothered to phone me not even a single a day, means they dont care.

I am so amazed after waiting this long for my car to be fixed, I finally got my car back, They gave me the car with the hooter that is not working, and the seat belt light that is not switching off. As they were reparing my car how can they give back a car that is not 100 percent in order. After I phoned them they told me that I should bring back the car then they told me they will order the hooter and the light. Do you know what with my gears they said what was broken is something that does not generally break that is why they dont have here in SA. But now to my suprise they have to order the mere hooter and the light in China. PEOPLE OF SA STAY AWAY FROM FAW CARS, IMPERIAL SELECT DONT HAVE A SINGLE PART OF THAT CAR IN SA. AVOID THE HEADACHE AND HEARTACHE AM FACING WITH THIS CAR. EVERY TIME THEY FIX SOMETHING, SOMETHING ELSE HAS TO BROKEN . EVER SINCE I BOUGHT THIS CAR I DONT REMEMBER A SINGLE DAY I GOD MY CAR BACK IN GOOD WORKING ORDER EVERYTHING FIXED.

I just cannot believe that within one month I had a problem of gears with my car and waityed a month before it get fixed refer above, the same car has repeated the same thing gears locked , why does Imperial allow to sell such low qulaity cars? Its now the third day after I towed my car back to them and they have done nothing except that they waiting on warranty to respond.. I dont think this car was fixed properly in the first place, I am so dissapointed with all this and angry with this, that every single month I will have to bring in this car for repairs for one and the same thing.
