Out of pocket paying for a car which is constantly at the dealer!! Beyond livid!!!
We purchased KIA Sportage 2014 model last year March had just over 70 000km. Since then the car has been more at the dealer than we driving it! In and out, from spare keys to problems with maintenance and service plans. We took out the maintenance and service plans and ask for this to remainder of the finance period. To our surprise when we went for service, we were told it has expired and oh yes, we still have to pay for this plan for the next 72 months although it is expired!!!How on earth!! then we queried this, they say they made a mistake when it was purchased and will sort it out. It was sorted out, but only for one service!!!! Now we have to take out another maintenance and service plan, whilst we are still paying for the one that we took out when car was purchased!! this is ****************!!. We purchased this vehicle because I am on the road each day, but I have been more stationed than anything else! Stuff being ****** when my vehicle is at the dealer, when complaint via email to the dealer manager, I was told that I should remove my stuff, so it is my fault you have dishonest staff? Yes I could have removed it, but I forgot it, it still does not give anyone the right to ***** my stuff!! I am in a corporate business and cannot tell my members that they are to blame if their stuff goes missing!! Poor service, lack of empathy and lack of ownership! I spent so much petrol driving up and down to the dealer it is not even funny anymore! Guess what, my car yet again for repairs for a month!! yet again I am without a car, but I have to pay my car premium and insurance premiums and still pay for rental car which can only be refunded when I get my car. Listen, the reason we bought this car to be mobile without problems, yet since we bought it I have been more out of pocket having to put in petrol up and down, loosing on work hours and clients thus loosing out on an income and my children being out of school during exams because I don't have a car!! To pay over R5000 car premium a month and over a R1000 insurance and being ****** of my personal stuff is way beyond ridiculous and frustrating. To think we have considered to purchase a vehicle for our daughter but I will spread the word of this lack of service and unreliable vehicles you sell!! Who is going to refund me premiums and insurance, petrol and my personal belongings, not to mention part of my income and oh yes, give my children the marks the lost due not being able to write their assessments! I am livid and at a point that I want to publish this on every social media platform and report this to the ombudsman and put the emails I have received regarding my complains that went nowhere for all to see what can be expected when you purchase a Kia Sportage or any vehicle through Imperial especially Somerset West. We not getting feedback on our car and having to call constantly is ridiculous. Can you please let me know how you are going to resolve this and how you are going to compensate me for the monies already lost and premium paid for a expensive vehicle that I don't have!!!
Thank you for bringing this to our attention Tersia. I will forward this matter to the dealership and regional office for feedback
