One Star rating is too much

Below is the exact emai I sent to Imperial Select custom care/complaints department last Sunday....

Absolutely livid with the service I received on Friday. I made an online query on Thursday night for which I received a call on friday. I was told the vehicle is available and I should pay a holding deposit and the vehicle will be brought to me for a test drive. I made a deposit of R2000 by 11am Friday and due to online difficulties was unable to get a receipt for proof of payment. I then had to leave work, go to the bank, get a payment receipt and forward it to the salesman I was dealing with. This was done by 13:15pm. I received a reply stating that the vehicle was out on a test drive and it would be brought to me once it's back. I wondered why would it be out on a test drive when I already put a holding deposit on it but then assumed it's probably to sell the vehicle after I test drove it should I not be satisfied with it. A few hours later I received a call from the salesman, Malcom, stating that the vehicle was sold!!! According to Malcom the other customer went to the pinetown branch and made enquiries and he didn't know about it and he is also very disappointed as he lost the sale. What sort of circus is operating there, is that how you conduct business??? He went on further to tell me that now I have to go to the bank and get a bank statement reflecting the payment (after me sending the payment receipt which apparently is not good enough) as well as send a copy of my ID in order to get my deposit back..... Are you guys for real.... I put a HOLDING DEPOSIT on a vehicle only for it to be sold and now I am being further inconvenienced!!! Who is going to compensate me for my time and money in doing the deposit and running up and down to the bank, oh and bank fees apply to bank statements as well.... I have another vehicle which was bought brand new in 2013 from Kia Gateway which we are thinking of upgrading but with such poor service, company standards and very little business ethics, we will definitely not be going back there or any Imperial dealer...

This is the Umhlanga Multifranchise dealer. On Monday morning I received a reply to this mail apologising for the problems and being assured they pride themselves on customer satisfaction. I then received a call from the salesman requesting I send him my bank account details and a copy of my ID so they can refund my deposit. After me sending that information I received an email with an Indemnity Form which I had to fill out and send back to them with the same information which I did the next day(Tuesday). It's now Saturday and I'm still waiting for my refund....

I have three problems with this company... one, clearly their administration and communication between branches and online is very poor as they don't really know what's happening with their vehicles. Two, they make promises, say they pride themselves on customer satisfaction but are unable to keep up to what they say, and three, they are unable to process a simple refund for a PROBLEM THAT THEY CAUSED.

The refund should have been done the very same day (which is last week Friday) as I sent them the payment receipt that I got from the bank which had all relevant details for a transaction such as a refund.

Can you please assist in getting my money back?

Apologising for the delay does not change anything, all it does is shows you recognise there is a problem.... I know there is a problem, there are many operational problems, as I pointed out on Saturday. But now what is the problem with my refund, why have I not been paid yet and when am I getting paid???

Good morning again Mr Ramsamy

The Franchise Accountant has just confirmed to me that the refund was paid into your account via an EFT yesterday, and should reflect in your account today or tomorrow

Regards

He/she could have just done an immediate payment, I mean, that's the least you could have done considering the fault was yours initially and then the unnecessary delay of the refund, but that would have been to much to expect.... Have them send me the proof of payment....
