No proof of service history and adding extra costs to finance

i financed a fiat 500 at kia northclif last week and the total finance
amount agreed on was R128535. When busy signing the lady went through
the contract very quickly and the breakdown of costs were different to
what was discussed due to it being broken down into different
categories such as VAT and various fees.

After struggling to get a copy of the contract from Wilma i could go
through all the details, this is then when i realized the total
financed amount was R130196, I have requested an explanation from
WIlma but have not received anything.

On top of this I was sold the car with a full service history but they
have failed to produce any proof of this.

I am happy with the car but these issues are a concern and i would
like to find out if there is a remedial steps that can be taken? As i
am currently being ignored when I raise a concern.

Donovan from Kia Northcliff has confirmed that the car does not have a warranty, and refuses to discuss any remedy to this action. they are claiming since it had a warranty not having a FSH does not mean the cars value has decreased, this is rediculous. they actually sell you a car promising a FSH and then later tell you it doesnt have one and expect you should just accept!! this is deliberate misrepresentation of facts!!! in law of contracts this is a breech of contract!! i expect to be contacted with a solution to this

So this is how imperial select does business??? Promise a FSH and when you cannot produce the documents your principle dealer Colin replies this ???

Hi Jean-Pierre,

As you can see we have done everything in our power to locate service history.

Again I say that before you took delivery we carried out a full major service including cambelt change and all original Fiat parts were used.

I have sent you the warranty schedule indicating that the car is out of warranty as of last year. The full warranty period was honoured so meaning the services must have been kept to date. With all the information provided I cannot see how this could affect the value on the car you bought.

If you are still not satisfied with this outcome I will trade your vehicle back in at a market related price for something else on my new or used floor.

Have a good day.

All the best,
