letting customers pay for your mistakes!!

I was sold a white ford fiesta 2016 ecoboost in May last year. As soon as I drove out of the dealer I drove into a roadblock. I was fined R1000 because the car did not have a permit. The following day I submitted the ticket fine to the dealer I was promised that they’ll pay for it.

Not so long ago I went to go renew my license disk only to find out that the ticket was not paid for and I had to pay penalty fees because of that

The second issue I have been struggling with is the car not being serviced. The car was not serviced for 20000 to 40 000ks. I went to the dealer several times at the beginning of the year and I was told that the car was serviced by Avis and I should go back home they will send me proof of that. I never received that proof after going to the dealer and speaking to the manager on 3 different occasions. I let the case rest seeing that I’m not being attended too but I had to pay R800 to re-instate my warranty.

i have been paying for the dealers mistakes ever since. this is not a pleasant experience especially since this is my first car.

Good morning Thabo.

You mailed me on Friday afternoon for the 1st time on this matter, (less than one working day ago), and I copied you in on my mail to the dealership. I am awaiting a response from the dealership
