Left Stranded & asked to pay for repairs with vehicle under warranty !

I purchased my Tata Xenon XT brand new from the Multifranchise Durban in August 2014, and their branch has since closed. The vehicle had to have the engine replaced due to a wrong part being fitted by the workshop which their manager at the time Patrick Poilly acknowledged & provided me with a courtesy vehicle for the duration of the repair. The vehicle broke down again this year, 1 day before the warranty expired, I was told by Tata that it was out of warranty, and had to arrange towing of the vehicle to the Pinetown workshop on my own, with my family & I stranded on the N3 with Tata Assist refusing to help us in that situation. The vehicle was deleivered to Pinetown, which i had to physically push into the workshop with my father. It was later resolved that my warranty was still in place & the vehicle would be repaired under warranty. After having the cylinder head & the engine tested, I was told after 1 month that the engine would be replaced under warranty. I was then told by the workshop that the injectors & pump should be sent for testing at my own expense, only to be informed more than a month later that the repairs exceeds R15 000 and would not be covered under warranty. I requested on numerous occasions that the copy of the warranty that I have signed to be sent to me proving that I had accepted these conditions upon sale of the vehicle which to date has not been furnished to me. I have not received any courtesy vehicle to date, the vehicle lies unrepaired with me being I told that I have to pay for a repair that is apparently not covered under the warranty.

I cannot believe how poorly I have been treated, as well as my family who was left stranded, by Tata Assist
