FALSE INFORMATION GIVEN REGARDING REPAIRS NEEDED

On the 30th June 2014, I took my 1 year old Renault Sandero to Tygerberg Multifranchise for its 15 000Km service.
During the day I received a call from them to say there is a leak on my cars' CV Joints, which needed to be repaired quite urgently - I asked for a quote and was told it would be around R3000. I discussed it with my partner and we decided we couldn't afford it at the time.
Upon collecting the car, they mentioned the leak again, and advised that I sort it out soon before needing to replace my whole gearbox as a result of it getting worse.
They also told me that Renault had declined to cover this under Warranty, as I was a few thousand km's overdue on the Service.
Fast-forward to 1 year and another 15 000km's later - I took my car to another (very good!) service centre this week, and asked them to check the CV Joints specifically - they actually took me to my car and showed me that there is only 'sweating' on the CV joints, and that it is 100% fine for me to drive like this for YET ANOTHER 15 000Km's!
I'm so angry that Tygerberg Multifranchise was willing to ***** me out of R3000 for something that didn't need to be done at all!
