Dishonest, Unfair Misrepresentation by Dealership and Sales consultant.

On the 5th of July I purchased and took delivery of a Golf 7 Vii GTI 2.0 2016.

I started having problems with the vehicle within the same month of purchase. The AFS (Cornering lights) and washer fluid leaking being the first of many problems I encountered with the car. The radio would sometimes just be blank when I switched on the car but the radio would still play. AFS Cornering lights have never worked since I took delivery of the vehicle has been purchased. The Right Driver Door is leaking water inside whenever it rains or when I take it for a car wash. Front Passenger & driver electrical windows would occasionally need to be pressed down the whole way for it to open and not the normal "single full-press" which would result in the window opening the whole way. Within the same month I was in contact with Melta the sales consultant that sold me this vehicle. She was not helpful and kept referring me to John the dealership Manager.

After a long back and forth they advised me to take the vehicle to any VW dealership for inspection. Upon Inspection they found that the car had a lot of work done to it. So much so that they said the only explanation was that the car might have been involved in an accident for such repairs especially the manner in which the doors were put back, causing the right driver door to leak water. The VW employee also mentioned that the work done was bad work on the Left doors, right doors, front bumper and rear bumper

I decided to take the car back to the dealership for further inspection and complain about this horrible experience I was having. I went to the dealer asking to see the Dealership Manager in hope that the dealership will take some sort of responsibility or ownership. Sadly the dealer did not want to take any ownership nor the vehicle. We asked to see the inspection test/ form that they complete and sign before releasing a car. They could not find this document. We wanted to understand how they can sell a car as good standard when clearly it wasn't.

After having the conversation with the Dealer it became evident that there were many parts of the vehicle that was meant to be replaced which was never replaced.

I laid a complain with the dealer through WesBank and they have confirmed that the dealership is not willing to take back the vehicle. They are only willing to repair damages.

Which would be a fair if all of these damages were disclosed to me at point of purchase. Had I knew that this is what I was buying I wouldn't have went into this agreement. No one wants to buy a problematic car because you will suffer financially in constantly fixing it. It is so shameful how the dealership has shifted responsibility.

They refuse to take ownership for misrepresentation, dishonesty, integrity, unfair conduct and disclosure of information. Till today the dealership has not even bothered to apologies, contact me or made any means to fix this disturbing experience.
