Damage on the car and promised refund

I recently bought a demo car Kia Rio Tech at Imperial Select Alberton and it was delivered to me on the 1st September 2017 in Durban since I reside there. I was very happy about the service until the 25th September 2017 (Just after 3 weeks only of receiving the car) when the car wouldn’t start and suspected a battery problem and we decided to open the bonnet of the car and what we discovered was shocking!! The battery of the car and the Kia sign on the engine and some cords had scratches all over like as if it was eaten by rats and could even see traces of some fur on the engine which confirmed that it was eaten by something . I called the sale executive I bought the car from and we agreed that I will be sending him the pictures and I did just that and sent the via WhatsApp on Tuesday the 26th September 2017 BUT I didn’t get any response from him after he saw the pictures!!! Up until today no response or explanation regarding this matter have been given by this Franchise. And the irony is that he is responding when I am inquiring about my refund for the registration and printing of number plates which they said I need to send receipts for once I have done this and I will be refunded for AND AGAIN with that too I’m still waiting for and was promised that it was going to be done on Friday the 29th or Monday the 2nd the latest and today got told it was submitted to the head office And as for the issue about the eaten battery NO RESPONSE . So now I’m currently dealing with 2 issues here ,1. the engine which marks from being eaten by rats and 2. My Refund ……………………………..What will it take for this company to take accountability and do what is right???!!!
