Complaint about Kia Brakenfell for knowingly selling my wife a faulty car

Hi

The Brackenfell Kia branch sold us a Peugeot 3 ********** model that was faulty and had the following problems at our undertaking of it: Damaged clutch and bearings and clutch plate. Faulty Seat belt and airbag lights that are still faulty. Permanent fault on Turbocharging pressure regulation.

As I speak to you, I have had to change a water pipe to the value of R1500 last year in June, and today, again, another pipe. This one is worth R1800. I have to replace pipes that are outside my warranty for a car that is 1 year and 8 months old.

The dealership knew about all these problems, and despite this, sold us a faulty car. We have R178000+ left on the car at installments of R3320 a month for the next 4 years. We have been ******. Worst of all, is that the dealership doesn't answer our emails when we complain.

Hi Mike. The dealership still hasn't called my wife, apart from defending themselves in an email we addressed to the Dealership Ombudsman. This is actually pathetic, that my wife has to change a turbo tomorrow, worth R9000 with a finance car that she has had for only a 1 year and 7 months. I had a Golf 4 for 9 years, and I have never had to change my turbo until I sold it last year. Disgusting! I will warn others of buying at Kia Brakenfell, they are ********s. More so, I have had another customer who also bought a Peugeot there, contact me after seeing my complain here on Hellopeter and we are going to present more facts to the public about this. My wife had a very bad car before buying this car, but now, she's actually worse off. We're changing a turbo, buying pipes worth R1800, fixing seat belt and airbag faults (and this is from day 1). It's a fiasco. Unacceptable!
