Car of my dream sold off while I was the first to apply!
<p>I recently app**** for finance for a Ford Focus on Imperial Select. The car has been sold this morning to a cash customer even though I was first in line for it. I app**** first. Is this how Imperial Select treats a customer? This was my dream car from the car to the colour everything was perfect! Now I have to start my search from scratch after months of browsing the internet!!!!! Now I phone your customer care centre and am told that they are allowed to do that. So in short as I understand it boo-hoo your problem we don't care find another one......</p>
It is unfortunate that while a customer is still in the sales process the vehicle may have been sold by another Sales Executive, many people are also indecisive with their purchase and can walk away from a deal without any firm commitment. Each Sales Executive and the dealership have targets to achieve and cannot afford to lose business.
We understand that you are upset, the dealers are not able to reserve a vehicle without a signed Offer To Purchase, finance approval and a holding deposit paid, this is due to the nature of the business with multiple clients being interested in a particular vehicle.
We apologize for what has transpired and will bring this to the attention of the Dealer Principal and Pre-Owned Manager to see if they will be able to source a similar vehicle for you.
