Beware the *******

terrible terrible terrible! Sale dragged due to the sales guy going on leave resulting in my settlement expiring 3 times, dealer replaced al 4 tyres and rear wheel barrings as these were worn already. I had the car 3 weeks and the clutch gave in. took it back to the dealer for repairs just to wait 9 days for nothing. according to the service manager I caused damage to the clutch by popping it. they quoted me R29,500 for replacement on something that didn't need replacement. they said the flywheel needed to be replaced and that the clutch was blue indicating that the clutch was burned..... i arranged for my car to be towed to vw for a proper diagnosis. vw confirmed normal wear and tear and that it's a 2nd hand car, it's time for the clutch to be replaced.... vw quoted me R13,500 and the flywheel doesn't need to be replaced. they worked on my car 1 day and it was fixed. beware of imperial select zambezi.... seems like they always rip people off by adding parts to quotes that doesn't need replacement.

Unfortunately the dealership is not accepting responsibility for selling me a car with a worn out clutch. according to their website: "Welcome to Imperial Select Find great deals on demo and used vehicles! At Imperial Select we offer a professional experience and excellent after-sales service. With a national representation at over 50 dealerships, we’ll help you discover the perfect vehicle for you! Whether you know what you’re looking for or not, explore our high quality car types, top brands and current specials to find the perfect vehicle for you" I definitely did not experience professional experience and excellent after-sales service..... instead they blame me for the wear and tear of the clutch, knowing full well it's a second hand car..... the damage could not be caused by myself in 3 weeks time reply from them: Dear Mrs Lavita We do like to extend our sincere apologies on the service received from Kia Zambesi and take note of your comments below which in essence will only help us improve our service levels to you our customer. In light of the experience around the Clutch, being a wear and tear item, we cannot accept liability as this could go at any given time driver dependant. The reason for our quote being more expensive is in general we quoted for the complete change which included the Clutch, Pressure Plate and Fly wheel which VW upon stripping has omitted to change as they believe it to be in order. In general one can only get the diagnosis upon stripping hence the difference. I trust that you understand and this places clarity around your concern. Regards Nizam Omar this shows that even with a diagnosis from VW and all evidence provided they still believe they are right for denying responsibility They do not sell quality vehicles, they sell broken vehicles at ridiculous prices!
