Bad Service and Not disclosing everything of the vehicle

Good Morning/Afternoon

I found the car online on ImperialSelects website and was interested in viewing the asset. On the 23rd of May 2017 at about 5:15 i got to there Roodepoort branch situated on Ontdekkers Rd Helderkruin. I saw Eugene and we discussed the car. One of the topics we discussed that i did not even get to ask was that he told me the car was not in a accident. After a average discussion about the car i took it for a test drive in the parking lot of Princess Shopping Center.

One thing that I must make clear this was the first car I bought from a dealership and this was the first car i would own financed and the selling prices was alot of money to me and my family and was really stressed out regarding this purchase.

On Friday the 26st of May the documentation was ready and Eugene kindly came to fetch me to take possession of the asset. I was waiting for more then a half and hour at your office before i were able to talk to the finance lady. When i was done there I walk back to Eugene that by this time had covered the car with a nice fabric. When it came to the inspection docs he said that he could not understand why they did not tick it of but that the car was indeed inspected. Me trusting Imperial Motors believed him. I had to sign the release notes prior to taking the vehicle. We took photos with the car covered and after it was taken off.

It now felt like they just wanted the deal and then to get me out of there as a former employee asked me how did they hand the vehicle over to me, did they go over the car with me? Did they explain the features of the car? I said to that former employee that is a friend of mine that they did not do anyone of that two. Eugene just told me that I have lots of reading to do regarding the features.

The same night i contacted Eugene via whatsapp regarding the car as I have found traces that this car might have had cosmetic touch ups or was involved in a accident (I did ask him on more then one occasion to verify with Kia that the car is still under warranty - He said he would find out but according to him and the finance lady it was still valid up to 150,000km. He asked me to go there the next day and we could go through the car

Saterday morning before 10:00am i arrived and spoke to him and showed him a few places and he tried to convince me that the car did not have a spray job and said that the car was not involved in a vehicle accident. I also showed him the mold, the back door window button that does not work at all and the drivers side window button is faulty (and is now becoming a risk) Here he said they did do the checks and could not understand how they missed it. My question now is if they did not fill it in and they did not found it it means that it was never done, Here Eugene said that he will sort it out and he was not sure if it was still under warranty so Kia fix it. Or they would fix it. I reminded him of the rusted tools in back and that he said that it would be replaced. We did not get to a understanding on this.

Yesterday I reminded him again that the info of the car was not given to the Insurance broker to update the insurance details. I know he said that he did send it but the insurance broker never received it so was it send i cant say. Then i inquired about my problem and said that he has forwarded it to his manager. I waited and after 12 when still not hearing from him nor his line manager i placed it in writing. He rep**** that he sent it to his manager. The Manager has not responded to say his looking into a resolution nor that he has received it. So was it sent up the chain? Not sure can say. As all this leads to one conclusion that I was taken for a ride and no-one wants to assist me and sorting this out.

One thing these guys have to understand. is the car is a lot of money. I like the car. But the issues has to be resolved and not swept under the rug as i feel they doin at the moment.

PS! I phoned Kia the window buttons will be under warranty if the car was services up to date and if the failure naturaly occurred... I can see that since they never did the inspection or that it looks like they never did this will become my issue. I look at the buttons and there is no harm nor foul with it, but what if Kia states it is unatural then that becomes my burden to carry?

Now I need resolution to this issue
