28 months of incompetence

I have purchased a vehicle on the 10th of March 2017 from Imperial select Hillcrest and have had numerous problems with the deal. These included the dashboard being damaged and owed two tyres. The initial excuse was that the tyre dealer with which Imperial select Hillcrest deals with did not have stock of the tyres and when they did receive stock then they would replace my tyres and repair the dashboard simultaneously. This was meant to occur within two weeks of taking delivery. More serious complaints are that despite me paying for licencing and registration of the vehicle during purchase, the dealership was unable to licence and register my vehicle for a variety of excuses. The same applies for them transferring the vehicle motorplan onto my name and fitting on my number plates as they were meant to do. I had to personally register my vehicle (taking off two successive days from work due to long ques) eventually on the 15th May (almost 9 weeks after taking delivery of the vehicle) as I had realised that the salesman and the dealership were not bothered(despite dozens of phone calls) . In the interim (between taking delivery and registering the vehicle) I had received fines from Metro police and my vehicle was almost impounded on the 1st May 2017 at a road block as I had been driving an unregistered and unlicensed vehicle. I had to appear in Court on the 30 June 2017 for the above offense. Furthermore, I also had to transfer the motor plan myself approximately nine weeks after taking delivery of the vehicle despite me paying for this service during purchase from Imperial select . I also had to fit on my own number plates (done at BMW Supertech) myself nine weeks after taking delivery. Its unimaginable that a basic task of fitting number plates onto a vehicle could not be done by Imperial select. My vehicle was finally licenced (by myself) on the 15th May 2017 after many failed phone calls , visits to the dealership (and legal warnings ) to the salesman and dealership. After numerous meetings with staff from Imperial select, I had to personally book in my vehicle to another dealership for repairs of my dashboard in December 2017 as it was clear Imperial select was not interested in repairing my car(despite them promising to do so). After many wasted hours of meetings, phone calls and emails with Imperial select staff, they have partially reimbursed me for the double costs incurred by me (namely licencing the vehicle myself and the fines) on the 30th January 2018(almost 11 months later). Regarding the two tyres owed to me, I have since then spent even more hours calling, emailing and meeting various staff of Imperial select. As of today (2 year 4 months later) I am still awaiting for closure of the deal. Prior to making this issue public, I have warned staff of Imperial select in writing (six weeks ago) that I would do so if my matter was not resolved. Regrettably, and with no real surprise, Imperial select continues to display its negligence in failing to amicably settle the matter despite their continuous promises to do so. It is unfortunate that I had to take this step but hopefully it will prevent future Imperial select customers from making the same mistake that I did (purchase a vehicle from the Imperial select franchise). For more information you are more than welcome to contact me or any of the Imperial select staff that were dealing with my complaints somewhere along the line these past 28 months ( Nathan Kanny, Gary Monteiro, Shane Kruger, Daniel Pakiri, ***, Imperial select Hillcrest, Imperial select Pinetown).

Thanks, I was recontacted by the DP that I was dealing with since the 24 January 2018.
As before, he has promised to once again finalise the deal.
