Wheels are coming off
I cannot express my disappointment with Impaq in words. My son is currently indicated as failing his grade due to assessments that were received but never marked by end of 4th term. We went in to the December holidays convinced he had failed his year, as the only response we got was that their offices is closed and will only open 4 Jan, at which time they will assess the situation. Now, after a week of phone calls and back and forth emails (to one department, then another) we were finally notified yesterday that the marks should be loaded within 24 hours and that we can download his final year report today. Surprise, surprise, those marks have still not been added to his year report. We need to enrol him for this year, but have no idea whether he has passed or not. Obviously it takes a while to enrol and receive all the learning material, so the longer it takes to finalise the matter, the later my son will receive his learning material for whichever Grade he is in this year. The first term starts in just over a week!!!! In my view, the wheels are falling off at Impaq, which is a huge disappointment, because I have told everyone we know that moving our son from mainstream school to a tutor centre to learn through Impaq was the best decision we ever made. I have no complaints as far as the tutor centre is concerned, in fact, they have been trying to assist me in resolving this with Impaq, but as far as Impaq is concerned, I now have serious reservations about the move.
