Pathetic service
The mid-year examinations start next week for grade 12 learners and we still have not been advised of the outcome of the concession application where we engaged Impaq/Optimi as far back as the 4th of March 2021 in this regard and our numerous e-mail pleas for assistance in this regard after completion of their forms fell on deaf ears to date. Even promises that the matter has been escalated to the head of thier Academic and Administrations Department in order for contact to be made with us as a matter of urgency seemed to be unfami**** with the truth.

Unfortunately, the exemptions and concessions are a tedious process. In the FET Phase, Impaq cannot provide you with exemption and concession (as was explained in our communication previously). We must get approval from SACAI (the assessment body). All necessary documentation must be submitted and our records show that we've received documentation on 19 April.
In the previous committee meeting, a decision was not made and it is again being taken to another committee meeting for approval. We do understand your frustration and have asked the relevant team to follow up with you and explain what the next steps are.
